I saw on this thread that you could run oracle forms 4.5 and 6 (the runtime not the developer tool) on win7 workstations. Open forms and the message 'F45DES32.EXE stopped working properly due to a problem' and closes the developer. I have systems in forms 6 and 4.5 for users forms no problems running on Windows systems 7, the developer 6 works correctly, but the developer forms and reports 4.5 does not work.

I doubt if you will find anybody with this configuration who can further help you if it doesn't work.

You may try it on Windows 7 32 bit version, but definitely not on 64 bit. I have a problem with forms developer 4.5 Facilities in Windows 7 Also woukd anyone know were i could find a complete windows 7 Oracle compatability list including forms and deveoper Has anyone on this forum had any problems installing and or running these forms on Windows 7 and were they able to resolve their issues and how did they do it. We have a number of legacy type systems build using earlier versions of forms, forms 4.5 and forms 5, also some of our developers would still user Oracle developer tools.
